Director of Human Resources

The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for positioning the company for growth through development of the human capital strategy. Responsible for managing and further developing HR programs and ensuring in line with the overall business goals. Direct and advise on all HR policies, programs and procedures including talent acquisition, retention, compensation, organizational development, performance management and training.   Responsibilities Partner with Senior Management at the divisional level to recognize and tackle the critical needs of the business to achieve goals that support the overall HR strategy. Expand Human Resource Programs and identify key metrics to analyze and solve business problems that impact effectiveness. Oversee the design, administration and communication of the division’s compensation program. Develop and manage a compensation total rewards program to ensure talent attraction and retention within budget. Manage a dynamic team of HR professionals providing day to day support and strategic guidance regarding a variety of HR topics including investigations, P & P, employee relations, discipline, and compliance. Develop, maintain and manage a comprehensive benefits program, while controlling costs. Champion company’s values and culture to continue and improve attraction and retention of a high performing team. Work with the Corporate HR staff to drive divisional talent acquisition.  Qualifications Strong quantitative and technical/computer skills (including Microsoft Excel) Degree in HR Management and related work experience of a minimum of 10 years at a senior level. Advanced degree preferred. In depth knowledge of multiple HR disciplines as they pertain to hotel or food/beverage. Multi-site experience preferred Self-starter capable of accomplishing complex tasks with limited supervision Strong working knowledge of labor laws, as well as legal and contractual concepts related to the position Excellent written and oral communication skills Must possess strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage several projects concurrently Able to work flexible hours and travel as required PHR certification preferred
